Star of
Wonder
SHOW DESCRIPTION:
Star of Wonder scientifically explains an actual celestial event of antiquity which may have been recorded as the Star of Bethlehem. Many celestial events occurred during that time period and still more were theorized by many cultures. Several questions arise regarding the event, including: What was it? Who saw it? When did it occur?
Celebrate the holidays under the stars of two millennia ago.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
While this is a live, interactive program, it is intended to educate as well as entertain audiences of ages 6 and up. In addition to a historical discussion, the lights will dim and a simulated night sky will be projected onto our 24-foot dome. Each evening's program is similar but it is not scripted, so may be slightly different each time!
Please note that the planetarium will be completely darkened at times so please take that into account with children.
